Former Dem Lieberman Endorses McCain

Is there ANYONE who doesn't realize that this is Lieberman's shameless attempt to get McCain to take him as VP running mate (if he gets the GOP nomination)? So, Joe, we now see you are a TOTAL prostitute: You side with the GOP in the impeachment of Bill Clinton, but become Al Gore's 2000 running mate (despite disagreeing with Gore about major issues), then become a post-9/11 Bush lover and warmonger. Then, when you lose the Democratic primary in CT in'06, you declare yourself an Independent and run against the Democratic nominee, but promise to "caucus with the Democrats." Once returned to the Senate you side with the GOP in many major pieces of legislation, blocking Democratic oversight on the very issues that brought them to power. And, now, you all but openly declare that you will become a Republican if they'll just let you be the new Cheney. (But McCain wouldn't let anyone be the power behind his "throne." Joe must be counting on McCain's age and hoping to be "a heartbeat away from the presidency.") Sheesh. I've lost respect for McCain in his accepting of this endorsement, but I noticed that he promised Lieberman NOTHING.
