Senator Obama as usual to his past record of abstaining for tough votes, again chose to abstain on this vote. In fact, the Senate voted 76-22 in favor of this amendment. Saying yes included Senator Durbin, Obama's biggest supporter from Illinois. Check the link provided below for Thomas.gov list of the votes. Not voting were two including McCain and Obama.
Seriously Mike, you're doing a disservice with your list. If not being present or voting present on a tough issue is a list of accomplishment for you, I'm speechless! With a Ph.D behind you, a little research and possibly introspection needed..maybe??

http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=110&session=1&vote=00349R_Pythonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00133638848334288175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1512392462526602410.post-22881104649437578192008-03-01T11:36:00.000-05:002008-03-01T11:36:00.000-05:00Mike, You stated that Obama voted against the Kyle...Mike,

You stated that Obama voted against the Kyle Lieberman amendment. Didn't he skip that to campaign or am I thinking of a different vote?Yvettenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1512392462526602410.post-49239512173684618302008-02-22T15:12:00.000-05:002008-02-22T15:12:00.000-05:00A friend, here in Texas, pointed me to your blog. ...A friend, here in Texas, pointed me to your blog. So, she's running this "humiliation video" in Ohio.

Clinton also mentioned the "humiliation" last night in the debate -- in AUSTIN, TEXAS. DOUBLE HUMILIATION.

That poor guy, who got "humiliated" by Chris Matthews, and again by Hillary Clinton, is now a State Senator. Prior to his election to the State Senate, he was THE WELL RESPECTED MAYOR ----- OF AUSTIN, TEXAS. A fact, of which, Hillary Clinton was apparently totally unaware. As a State Senator, his Senate District sends a large bloc of delegates to the National Democratic Convention.

The Obama campaign has been urging early voting in Texas.

In a ominous sign for Mrs. Clinton, early voting in Texas is up 1,000% over last year.

"Don't Mess With Texas" may take on a whole new meaning.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
